<p>By adding your exercise into the time you spend with your new baby is the first step.  What I mean by that is create your day so that the time you spend with your child is physically demanding and gives you a workout.  For example, if your child is old enough to play at the playground, join in on the fun!  Play with your child.  How about climbing up the jungle gym with your kids, or play hide and seek.  Or better yet, race with your kids.
